" I Am At Youth.SG "
Awww ... Not another Graded assignment ... Okay! I'll have to do it sooner or later ...! How do i start off with ? What does " I Am @ Youth.SG " meant to me ?
Most importantly, youth , i felt that it is a word which have many meanings and meaningful or even memoriable to other at some times. Why? People would ask, because everyone and i have to agree with that, everyone had a chance in their life-time to experience this beatiful stage of life , their youth.
When they were a teenager, the years when we learn and experience a whole lot of new things in life which we are "shaped and moulded" to grow up to fine young and contributing men and women for the country. But it is also a period of time when bad influences came in as were are very easily influenced. It is good that we learnt from our mistakes and try in ways to improve on it and never to make that same mistake again.
Youth nowadays are as energetic as ever , it is one of the highest level as we are bursting with energy, we create beautiful memories which we then be kept in our hearts. To me , Singapore youth have a very unique style in life , fashion, character , etc. For example , acting cool , cute or "Ah Bengish" . Some doll up themselves in fancyful clothings and accessories. And where do we learn all these from? Part of them are originated from various medias like the TV , friends, fashion magazines and even anime characters we watch in cartoons!! It creates both positive and negative impacts on Youths. Bad influences could destroy our future, if we make a wrong decision in life. Therefore, us youth would seriously need to sit back and think twice before doing anything.
Not forgetting our studies, going to school might not be a pleasent thought for some youth. I would agree with that too. But apart from those stressful assignments and tests that we faces everyday. We learnt to make new friends and values in life! School organises many interesting and enriching activities apart from our studies. With our peers' and teachers' support we were able to pull through many struggles in our studies too!
So far, I am enjoying my wonderful teenager years with my friend and family a lot, working together, to face and challenge all odds. Therefore, I have nothing to say but ever proud to be a Singapore Youth !!! =D
